We are inspired by traditional decorations typical of the Republic of Venice, which we re-interpret through contemporary design and artistic research. Made and decorated by hand, our products are examples of the skills of Italian craftsmen combined with innovative processes.
Historically the word Terraferma was used to indicate the Veneto hinterland. We have brought back the name to define the territory in which we work today, harking back to a noble tradition of craftsman skills which has been well-known throughout the world since the 18th century due to the ceramic, porcelain and majolica manufacturers of Bassano, Nove and Treviso.
We work with the Theo Design studio of Simone and Carla Poletti for Cartoccio and with the artists of the Sbittarte collective for our artistic line.
We work with clay, majolica and grès laminate, three ceramic materials used to make decorated tiles and slabs for interior decor.
